Eve-Online ISK The Guide

Eve-Online ISK The Guide is the ultimate guide for all eve-online players

ISK The Guide Vol. 1:

Isk_vol1No matter whether you are a beginner on a 14-day trial account or a veteran trader, maybe a fierce pirate, a determined miner, a pilot who has years of experience in mission running or a three-month-in noob – there is no pilot who has tried and done everything or knows all there is to know about EVE. Beginner or expert, this Guide – known as the Industrial-Sized Knowledgebase – is for you!

Expertly written by a number of specialists in their field, and officially endorsed by CCP, this guide covers just about everything you can do in EVE. If you need to know something, just look it up in this book. Of course you do not have to commit everything to memory; just open the ISK the Guide Vol. 1 and you will find your answer.

ISK The Guide Vol. 2:

Rsz_cover-isk2-engA new guide was written by the ISK team. This guide tries to help the new players who familiarizes themselves with the universe of EVE. This time the guide attempts to introduce the complex world of PvP (Player versus Player).

Despite the already-known game mechanism, the PvP will not be a predicted activity since the enemies are other human players, so you must be prepared against not the game’s Artificial Intelligence but another human mind, attitude, psyche. Be ready: as there are many players, there are endless different strategies, numerous ships, setups, battle situations: all of them give the real variety, which makes our adrenalin “green light”. Sooner or later, the PvP will be the part of the game why you are playing EVE Online for. You may find thousands of other things to explore, to learn, to experience, to try, but none of them, nor their causalities, will give you real excitement like the PvP and its intensity, the real enemies: the challenges to defeat other players, and protect yourself against them.

Good luck! An advice: Don’t panic, and never give up!

ISK The Guide Vol. 3:

Vol3resA new guide was written by the ISK team. This guide tries to help the new players who familiarizes themselves with the FPS side of the EVE universe.

Work with teammates. This means both aiding them when you’re nearby, keeping track of them and moving with them. It also means taking advantage of them in order to flank enemies. I won’t lie about the importance of knowing your weapon’s abilities and limitations. I won’t go on about how X gun is vs Y gun or how AR’s are too perfect. I will just say to know your limits and work within them. Knowing what is ahead of you however, whether you can see it or not, is but a small fraction of tactical and strategic knowledge on the battlefield. The trick is to know what is around you, or at least likely to be, nearly 100% of the time.

Don’t forget the Golden rule of Dust 514:

“Teamwork is essential; it gives the enemy other people to shoot at.”

Neural Remapping for Dummies

Neural Remapping is a Cutting-edge neuroscience allows capsuleers to shift their natural strengths and weaknesses around between the five key cognitive areas. This technique is frequently used to facilitate a change in the direction of a capsuleer’s skill plan.

And i end up accidentally remapping myself with 30 Charisma instead of Perception, now I’m stuck with a gimped char for 12 months. sheesh…

Moving to Amarr.

After years spent in Minmatar space, finally a few months back i have moved to Amarr.

The largest of the empires in the world of EVE, Amarr spans 40% of the inhabited solar systems. The Amarr Emperor is the head of a ritualistic, authoritarian imperial state, and below him are the Five Heirs, the heads of the five royal families from which a new Emperor is chosen. The Emperor’s authority is unquestioned and absolute, but the archaic and bureaucratic system of government makes it difficult for him to exert his rule unless directly in person. Otherwise, the Five Heirs rule in his name, dividing the huge empire between them.

Avatar (Amarr Titan)

Casting his sight on his realm, the Lord witnessed
The cascade of evil, the torrents of war.
Burning with wrath, He stepped
down from the Heavens
To judge the unworthy,
To redeem the pure.

-The Scriptures, Revelation Verses 2:12

Since my new corporation CrossRoads has most of its operations based in Amarr.

My current skills as above are pretty well balanced for most areas, but a shifting from Explosive to EM and Thermal takes a few adjustments.

The biggest problem was althogh i can use armour tanking pretty effectively, most of my weapon tech and preference are on rails so i had to stick with the new Caldari BS Rokh.

I find Raven too low on dps.

The Raven is the powerhouse of the Caldari Navy. With its myriad launcher slots and powerful shields, few ships can rival it in strength or majesty.

Special Ability: 5% bonus to Cruise and Siege Launcher Rate Of Fire and 10% bonus to Cruise Missile and Torpedo Velocity per level.

Having long suffered the lack of an adequate hybrid platform, the Caldari State’s capsule pilots found themselves rejoicing as the Rokh’s design specs were released. A fleet vessel if ever there was one, this far-reaching and durable beast is expected to see a great deal of service on battlefields near and far.

Special Ability: 10% large hybrid optimal range per level and 5% shield resistance per level
